Created Tron inspired multi-platform weather app.

Problem
How might I create a unique weather app to inform users of weather conditions in a fun and engaging way?
I wanted to keep a minimal aesthetic but give a weather app a feel that was different from many weather apps. I hoped to provide a more engaging weather experience inspired by the movie Tron.

Research
Problems I ran into included making the information as easily scannable as possible while providing a good overall scope of the weather for their day, week, or 10 day time span.
The users I had in mind for this are farmers, sailors, anyone who checks the weather, and people who enjoy novelty apps.
When doing competitive research I found many weather apps including novelty weather apps but my search results did not yield any weather apps that were inspired by movies.

Recap
After this project, some of my main takeaways include resizing and arranging the layouts for different screen sizes. This was my first project where I really took into account three sizes and what it would look like to go from one to the next.
Given more time, some changes I would make include playing around with sizing and the amount of scrolling necessary.
For next steps I would like to create a prototype to get a better feel for how these mockups would function and from there decide any changes that need to take place. I would also like to get more user input on this.
